About Me
Icaro Franco, LCSW
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I specialize in helping adults navigate life’s challenges—whether that’s managing depression and anxiety, building self-esteem, working through body dysmorphia, or overcoming performance anxiety. I also have a passion for supporting men of all sexual orientations as they work through issues unique to their identities and lived experiences.
My approach to therapy is real, down-to-earth, and relationship driven. I believe healing happens in spaces where you can fully show up as yourself—without judgment. In our work together, we’ll create a space where it’s okay to laugh, have fun, and be human, while also diving into the serious and vulnerable parts of life that need attention and care.
On a more personal note, I’m a gay, Brazilian-American male. I was born in Brazil and moved to the U.S. at age four. I’ve spent most of my life in South Florida, particularly in the Broward County area. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and my Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me staying active and enjoying the outdoors. I love going to the gym, biking, rollerblading, swimming, running, and playing sports. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, and I’m always up for a good board game or video game session.
If you’re looking for a therapist who values authenticity, connection, and balance—you’re in the right place.
